Non-goals
Non-goals are explicit statements of what the product will not do in this release.
Non-goals protect focus. They make trade-offs explicit and prevent scope creep from disguised requests.
Why they matter
Founders often say yes by default. Non-goals make no a shared decision, not a personal block.
How to write them
Keep them clear and specific. If a feature request fits a non-goal, it is out by default.
