Product brief

A product brief is a one-page summary of the problem, user, and scope for a release.

A brief is not a PRD. It is a short, decision-ready doc that keeps the team aligned on what is being built and why.

Keep it short

A brief should fit on one page. If it grows, the scope is still unclear.

What it should include

Problem, user, core workflow, and non-goals. That is enough to build against.
